Formerly “Gary’s Trailer Sales”, the store was opened by Gary Nicols, Sr. who began selling pop-up campers as a side business to his fuel and service station. The company was one of the original Jayco RV dealerships ever established in the United States.

Once the first few pop-ups hit the lot back then Jayco’s introduction into the Des Moines area was an instant hit. The company enjoyed 30 years of exceptional growth.
